Viva drifts through life in Atlantic City, clinging to a beach house she inherited and a hotel job she barely keeps. Her only hope for escape lies in Riley Donohue, a frequent guest who tolerates her more than loves her. Her co-worker Beaver tries to offer support, while his mother, Luna, would rather fire her. When a mannequin tumbles off a truck, Viva sees herself reflected in its vacant stare.
Determined to return it, she is told it’s worthless—but she refuses to accept that.
