Short films you could pause on almost any frame

Visual short films feel like walking through a gallery where every image refuses to behave. Here the picture leads and the story follows, the craft of light, texture and composition doing the heavy lifting of meaning. The mood lives in how a thing looks and the feeling that look conjures, more than in plot.

Lost Souls is a visual take on characters at rock bottom deciding what comes next, and The Burning Blue tests a couple stranded in a desert that is not as empty as it seems. Mascagni' Symphony ♱ Inno all'Infamia sets two criminals against their inner demons in a lawless world, Shame On You haunts a young outcast with a tormenting doppelgänger, and A Street Cat Named Desire ensnares a tourist in a world of sex, drugs and cats. Streaming free, no subscription, made to be seen on the biggest screen you have.
