“A new Mom consumed with the futility of cleaning up after her kid”

Synopsis

For a new mother, the days blur into an endless loop of messes to wipe, spills to mop and one more thing to clean up. Aisha Alfa’s sharp seven-minute dark comedy follows her through an ordinary afternoon at home, phone pressed to her ear, laughing off the gross reality of raising a small child while the chores quietly pile higher. Every time she thinks she is finished, there is always one more. What begins as a wry, relatable portrait of maternal exhaustion slowly tightens into something stranger and more unsettling, as the familiar rhythm of tidying up gives way to a creeping sense that she is no longer in control of her own home.

Help Aisha reach more people.
