Comic shorts are a high-wire act. There is no slow build to hide behind, just a premise, a punchline, and the nerve to commit. The films here go for the laugh and land it, whether the joke is absurd, deadpan or completely deranged. Quick, sharp, and very funny.
Viskar I Vinden is a forensic investigator trying to communicate with a farting corpse, which is exactly as committed as it sounds, and The Foul spins cleaning up after your dog into something insane and hilarious. Road Rage! traps a man late for a Cardiff interview inside a time loop, and Pop Down sends an alien who fancies a chat to cheer up a young woman feeling blue.
If your humour runs darker, The Core of Monkos Anthology is a very dark, stupid and surreal collection, and Revenant Relocation Officers follows two men removing ghosts from properties around Edinburgh like it is a day job. Every one streams free, no sign-up, chosen by people who laughed first. Press play and enjoy.
