Klipist is where short films find their audience. Hand-curated, independently run, watched in all 193 countries of the world. If you’ve made something great, we want to see it.
A gory short film does not flinch. The horror lives in the close-up, in what stays on screen a beat longer than you want it to, and these films lean into the wince. Retch turns a young woman's illness into something her body was never meant to do, while The Relic lets adventurers dig up the worst discovery they could imagine. Both trade in dread you feel in your teeth.
The tone tips into the perverse and the funny too. Out To Run: A Tale of Blood Velvet sets a queer couple against attackers who hunt them for their taste, David French is a Piece of Shit and I Want Him Dead follows twins hatching an evil plan for their frontman's inspiration, and A Certain Method sends a struggling actress to the audition of her life, and someone else's death. Watch them free, with the lights off and someone close by.
